Crated Earth Farm

Certified natural produce grown in SE Michigan

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)

The CSA, or farm share, is an arrangement between CSA members and farmers where
the member receives a share of the farmer’s harvest each week during the growing season in
exchange for payment at the beginning of the season. Members have an opportunity to support
their local farmers, have access to fresh produce every week, and gain a better understanding of
exactly what can be grown in Michigan. You will get to see the weekly harvest change with the
seasons and have a better connection and appreciation for your food.

Our Produce

Here at Crated Earth Farm we grow non-GMO produce without the use of any pesticides,
herbicides, or chemical fertilizers. We strive for a natural and sustainable approach in our
farming methods and are Certified Naturally Grown.

Pricing

A farm share is great for a family of 4 – 6 and costs $500 for the harvesting season. We
are also offering a smaller half-share this year with portion sizes to feed 2 – 3 at a cost of $300.
We currently accept payment via cash, check, and credit card. Depending on weather and other
conditions, we usually begin harvesting in June and continue until the frost in October. Our
harvesting season is usually around 20 weeks, which breaks down to about $25 per week.
